Craig McDermid | CEO

Craig and Kathie McDermid took over ownership of South Canterbury Toyota in July 2008 from original owner and friend Peter Swaney. Craig originates from Dunedin and has been in the motor industry or subsidiaries for many years, including owning a service station in Christchurch before taking ownership of Blenheim Toyota in 1990. Craig splits his time between Blenheim and Timaru, just a well he enjoys driving!

Andy Wilson | Branch Manager

Andy joined South Canterbury Toyota in April 2010. Both Andy and his wife Helen have settled back into Timaru life enjoying old friends and acquaintances and family particularly their 2 grandsons. Having spent the greatest part of his working life in the motor industry, Andy’s passion thrives particularly in the aspect of customer service. He and the team at South Canterbury Toyota’s philosophy is one of 100% customer satisfaction – something he says “we work very hard at”. Andy’s role is both challenging but very rewarding; he adds it is a privilege to work amongst a group of dedicated supportive and motivated people.
